1 October 2019
All businesses with staff need to be registered with the ATO for STP – Single Touch Payroll. If you are still not registered, please contact our office for assistance.
7-8 October 2019
September payroll tax due. Be familiar with the thresholds of your state’s payroll tax. If your business annual wages Australia-wide are approaching the threshold, or you’re budgeting for increased wages and oncosts in the coming year, it’s time to talk to your accountant about payroll tax.

If you are an employer, you need to pay SG Contribution approximately on 24 or 25 October, so that the fund receives the deposits by 28 October 2019.

Make sure you paid superannuation for the payment to be tax-deductible.
31 October 2019
Deadline for lodging your tax return for the tax year ended 30 June 2019 if your tax returns are late from prior years, or if you are not registered with a Tax Agent.
31 October 2019
If you are an employee, check your online super accounts to make sure that your employer has paid your super.
