More money for Qld Businesses

The Qld Government is providing Business Support Grants to small and medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations affected by the recent extended lockdowns. Applications for this grant opened on 16 Aug 2021, and will close on 16 November 2021.

Employing small businesses and not for profit organisations $10 0001. Must have a turnover of more than $75,000 per annum and an annual payroll in Queensland of less than $1.3 million (Note: Employees do not include contractors and sub-contractors)

2. Must have been impacted by the South East Queensland lockdown commencing 31 July 2021 or the Cairns and Yarrabah lockdown commencing 8 August 2021 or any other Queensland lockdown in the month of August 2021
Employing medium-sized businesses and not for profit organisations $15 0001. Must have a turnover of more than $75,000 per annum and have an annual payroll in Queensland of between $1.3 million and $10 million (Note: Employees do not include contractors and sub-contractors)

2. Must have been impacted by the South East Queensland lockdown commencing 31 July 2021 or the Cairns and Yarrabah lockdown commencing 8 August 2021 or any other Queensland lockdown in the month of August 2021.
Employing large-sized tourism and hospitality-focused businesses and not for profit organisations $30 0001. Must have a turnover of more than $75,000 per annum and have an annual payroll in Queensland of more than $10 million (Note: Employees do not include contractors and sub-contractors)

2. Must have been impacted by the South East Queensland lockdown commencing 31 July 2021 or the Cairns and Yarrabah lockdown commencing 8 August 2021 or any other Queensland lockdown in the month of August 2021.
Non-employing sole traders based in Qld $1 0001. Must be an individual operating as a sole trader (this can include a non-employing business operating through a company, partnership, or trust structure) and must not be employing any staff

2. Must have an annual turnover of more than $75,000 during any of the 2018-19, 2019-20 or 2020-21 financial years
