“Don’t let others spam your Facebook Feed – Whilst it is easy to stop people from posting on your timeline, did you know some people or hacked accounts are using methods built into Facebook (gaming the system) to ensure posts that you wouldn’t normally post – appear? It’s called tagging.
Usually, you tag people at an event. However, I have started to notice that people are tagging people to any kind of post and then that post appears in someone’s timeline. You can turn this off easily.
In Facebook, top right arrow/chevron, click Settings & Privacy > Timeline and tagging > Review. Where it says, “Review tags that people add to your posts before the tags appear on Facebook. Edit that and turn that on.
The photo below depicts what looks like a legit post – but it’s a lie and complete scam.

All the miscreants had to do is tag a bunch of people – over 40+ and have this image appear in their timeline feeds. When I pointed it out to the person who had it in their feed they had no idea it was even there.
How many times do you really look at your own feed vs your news feed?
Protect your Facebook Timeline.”
